Volunteers will be removing marine debris (rope, derelict fishing nets, and all types of plastic) from the coastline in order to protect marine birds and animals as well as make the area safer for beach goers. Volunteers are also needed for the support crew to help set up (6:30am), pack up (10am), and assist with check-in (7:45am-10am). All participants will be entered to win prizes donated by Kale's Natural Foods, Ben & Jerry's, and B.E.A.C.H. Please wear shoes, hat, and sunscreen. Bring: buckets, sand sifters, rakes, tarps. Bags, gloves and water will be provided. |
