B.E.A.C.H. is celebrating Earth Day by organizing two beach clean-up and litter prevention/plastic reduction campaigns at Ala Moana Beach. The first is on Sunday 21st April from 8:30am to 12:30pm. Ala Moana Beach became a smoke-free beach on 8th April, 2013 when Mayor Caldwell signed Bill 72. To volunteer, please register by Saturday 21st April by phone: 393 2168. Schedule: Please arrive at 8:30am to check-in. What to bring: Wear shoes and bring a bucket, hat sunscreen and reusable water bottle.
